-live in extreme habitats
-hot spring, salty lakes
-Theromophiles-heat lovers
-Halophiles-salt lovers









-Eubacteria

-common bacteria
-some need oxygen others dont
-decomposers
-used in food making
-course disease
-Bioremediation-bacteria that eats oil spills
